i know the guy who fabricated that hood.
he and his son are 2 if the 14 certified viper mechanics in the U.S.
i will always remember sitting in his shop in a 2003 that looked a lot like this, he told me that there were only 2 original parts on his viper, 1 the breaks, but they were now too weak, so he moved them to act as the parking breaks, and 2 the rear-view mirror. he gave it 1,240hp, and then he let me (then 15) rev the engine. it was a glorious day, thanks for bringing back the good memories.

You're welcome ;). That's interesting, but maybe 1240hp was a bit too much, no ? :) It must have been a great moment when you started up this monster... Wish I were you =P

Good use of natural lighting. The short lens really seems to be distorting the front end of the car, though. The electric blue on the washed-out dust is very nice. Punches the car out of the background.

Overall I, personally, have never found the viper to be a particularly charismatic or desirable vehicle. Personal taste.

Always a pleasure to have some complete comments :). Yeah, the front end is a bit distorted by the 10-20mm ;).
This Viper is a bit special, only a few have been prepared by Hennessey, and this one is the only one in France.

In FRANCE?! Okay, that is a rather odd place for such a machine. It's very, very large by European standards. I'd imagine it's a tight squeeze on some of the country roads.

There are some americans' fans in France too, you know ;).
Yeah, it's a bit tight some times, but it doesn't prevent us to push the throttle :D
